Prospective participants are invited to submit technical papers of up to 6 pages using ACM/ASE format guidelines. Relevant topics include (but are not limited to):.

  • • NLP-based Tools for software engineering
  • • NLP and Software Traceability
  • • NLP in Quality Assessment and Improvement

  • • Mining Natural Language Data from Software Artifacts
  • • Current Issues in Software Engineering for Natural Language Processing

Authors of selected papers will be invited to submit an extended and improved version to special issue in different journals: 1) Software: Evolution and Process 

What and where to submit

All submissions must be in English. All submissions must be in PDF format and conform, at time of submission, to the ACM Proceedings Template (LaTEX users must use \documentclass[sigconf,review,anonymous]{acmart}).
Papers submitted to this track (Technical Research and Experience Papers) must not exceed 6 pages (including figures) plus up to 2 pages that contain ONLY references. Exceeding this limit will be grounds for rejection without review.
Papers submitted to NLP-SEA 2021 must not have been published elsewhere and must not be under review or submitted for review elsewhere when being considered for NLP 2021. Authors should be aware of the ACM Policy and Procedures on Plagiarism.
